2008 Chapter Scholarships Awarded

Thanks to all chapter members who donated money to our scholarship fund or attended our ABC Mixer or golf tournament. Your participation helped our chapter raise our scholarship funds this year. Thanks also for your help in getting the word out to qualified students. We had a record number of applicants this year!

The Accounting Education Committee recently met to review all of our student scholarship applications, and we were very impressed with the students’ accomplishments. At our Nov. 19 New Member Orientation event, we awarded $25,000 in scholarships to 10 very deserving students:

Matthew Ayotte (Golden Gate University); Jeffrey Chew (San Francisco State University); Adriana Contreras (Dominican University); Jennifer Duong (Dominican University of California); Marc Erlich (Sonoma State University); Brianne Getgen (Sonoma State University); Allyson Laughton (University of San Francisco); Felicia Miranda (Humboldt State University); Amy Pillai (San Francisco State University); and Jennifer Stalvey (San Francisco State University).
