As the CalCPA Government Relations team continues its excellent job resulting in several legislative successes regarding various issues on behalf of CalCPA, the efforts need to be multiplied on the local level through participation of individual members.
I’m looking for colleagues to meet area legislators for brief visits to establish and develop positive relationships. Our goal is for legislators to view our members as a trusted, informational resource when issues arise involving our profession. This is a flexible commitment. If you are interested in serving, please contact program associate Cindy Holcomb or me. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact Cindy or me. I look forward to working with each of you!
