The AICPA’s Tax Advocacy team has prepared a video overview of tax reform post-Senate passage. Along with the video, you’ll also find an FAQs and other resources on the webpage.
A conference committee has convened to address the differences between the House and Senate proposals. Congress and the Trump administration are looking to enact the final tax reform bill before the end of the year, with most of the provisions becoming effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Additionally, the Tax Policy Center has a helpful table that highlights the differences between current law, House and Senate proposals. And a side-by-side comparison of the two proposals can be seen here. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
