Each year, the AICPA’s Legacy Scholars program awards more than 100 scholarships to talented accounting students across the nation – from high school seniors to graduate students and everything in between. As participants, students will complete eight hours of service each semester by planning and implementing events that support and promote the accounting profession. In addition, scholars can request a CPA coach they can turn to throughout the year with questions or advice related to fulfilling service requirements, sitting for the CPA Exam, career exploration, interview preparation, or general guidance as they journey through college and/or transition to the workforce.
The AICPA’s Academic & Student Engagement team is currently seeking volunteer coaches for the 2017-18 academic year who have their CPA license, at least two years of full-time professional work experience, and a desire to grow and develop future accountants.
