Hiring Assistance Program

The North State Building Industry Foundation has Hiring Assistance Program grants available through at least the first half of this year. If you have plans for any new hires, and those new hires happen to be unemployed or underemployed workers, the foundation can reimburse you up to $5,000 for each person you employ.

The purpose of the funds, which flow from the Workforce Investment Act, is to give an incentive to employers to bring people back into the workforce.
