It’s Scholarship Time

March 2nd, 2011

Every year at this time, our chapter invites qualified accounting students attending state colleges and universities in Orange County and Long Beach to apply for a chapter scholarship. Take a moment and review the criteria and application process.

The five-member Scholarship Committee will review all applications submitted by the March 19 deadline. Winners, their families and professors are invited to our special July Scholarship Reception, where they are presented with their checks.

Irvine University has launched the Irvine Scholars Program for those interested in obtaining their law degree or MBA. A legal or business background in today’s job market can be useful to a CPA who wishes to pursue a career as a tax attorney or manage their own tax & accounting firm.
