In Memoriam: Robert Memory
We sadly announce the unexpected passing Nov. 3 of Robert Memory. He was 64. Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Eric Memory (wife, Julie) and Brad Memory; daughter, Melissa Burgess (husband, Ryan); and four grandchildren, Erica, Kelli, Dylan and Rylynn.
Bob graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 1971 with a major in accounting in June and began working at Rogers, Anderson, Malody & Scott, LLP in 1972 as a staff accountant. In 1984, Robert became a partner in the CPA firm and was named managing partner in 2001.
Robert helped in many areas, including audit, accounting and tax, as well as second review on all financial statements the firm prepared for its clients. He always ensured the firm met the quality control and peer review requirements for an accounting and auditing practice.
