In the words of Jillian Phan, our chapter president, “Networking at the event expands our community and creates meaningful opportunities for our members. The environment and intent is focused on building business relationships.” Jillian and past president Cory Stigile agree that the event is also a place to identify future leaders for the chapter while giving the younger CPAs a place to learn how to network.
For those new to the event, it’s CalCPA’s premier networking event for the Los Angeles financial community. It‘s a unique opportunity for attorneys, bankers and CPAs to nurture relationships and develop referral sources. Proceeds from this event benefit the chapter’s Charles Gumbiner Lou Savett Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to an accounting student who demonstrates academic excellence and a dedication to community service.
Be sure to bring 100 business cards to the event! Registration fees and sponsorships are not tax deductible as charitable contributions.
