Volunteers Needed to Provide Tax Service

The chapter’s Taxation Committee needs volunteers for its free income tax service, which consists of preparing 2009 tax returns for low-income individuals.

Dates: Tuesday, March 9.
Time: 7–9 p.m.
Location: Eastmont Community Center; 701 S. Hoefner Ave., Los Angeles

Hi Lanyce:
I love to help those low-income individual. However, I am not quite sure what level of tax experience you are looking for. I help my families to file tax returns and I am a CPA for auditing field. Therefore, I use e-file to get updates and be familiar with new tools. I used to help the company for tax field for 3 months only.
I will be available for two hours at that date.
